DEPCO
DEPCO offers
two levels of AgriScience programs; Basic and
Intermediate.
AgriScience Basics was designed to seamlessly
integrate into any and all pre-existing Agricultural
programs while also acting as basic building
blocks for future programs. The AgriScience
Basics program enriches the teaching of technical
topics through curriculum that is effective,
simple, and fun! DEPCO's AgriScience Basics
program consists of eight 5-day modules, plus
Metalworking and Woodworking Projects, as well
as several group projects. The program covers
a wide range of agricultural-related topics
such as Aquaponics, Food Science, and Soil
Science.
AgriScience Intermediate acts
as second level program, which is a follow-up
to the AgriScience Basics program. This program
is a natural articulation to Production Agriculture,
which is already an essential part of every educational
agriculture program. AgriScience Intermediate
covers many advanced topics, while incorporating
skill development and career investigation within
segments of the agriculture industry. For more
information, visit DEPCO's
Agri-Science website.
